Mobile Voice Message Services (Gujarati) – India

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is currently running a mobile voice message service in the tribal villages of South Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh under its local governance improvement programme (Gramin Sushashan Pariyojana). Through this service, AKRSP(I) provides information concerning different government schemes and acts to villagers in the local communities.

The purpose of the video is to raise awareness about these schemes and acts and to inform people how they can register their mobile phone number to get informational voice messages on a regular basis.

The video exists in two different languages – Gujarati and Vasavi, which is a tribal language in South Gujarat.

Video: 18 mins.
